Ellen Tyler

As WLGCC’s Executive Director, Ellen is responsible for leading the management and operations of our member-led coalition.

Most recently, Ellen served as Senior Community Resiliency Planner at the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SWWRPC), where she led coalition building to support regional resilience goals, directed comprehensive and hazard mitigation plans, and embedded resilience principles across planning projects region-wide. Her work building collaborative relationships across local governments and communities in southwestern Wisconsin directly informs her approach to this role.

Prior to SWWRPC, Ellen worked as a Senior Foresight Researcher at Mercedes-Benz R&D, where she analyzed societal trends to anticipate future transportation needs and identify innovation opportunities. This experience grounded her in the intersection of climate, technology, and long-range planning that is central to WLGCC's mission.
