What can local governments do in regards to electric vehicles? A number of things, including but not limited to:

  • Electrifying municipal fleets & public transit

  • Installing public EV charging stations

  • Incentivizing new building developments to include EV-ready infrastructure or include EV charging stations 

  • Conducting educational outreach programs

  • Helping make resources available to residents

  • Promoting the Inflation Reduction Act incentives!
