Climate Action Planning
Typical Climate Action Plans include a number of components:
Conduct a carbon/greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory to establish a baseline
Establish carbon reduction goals
Identify carbon reduction strategies and policies by sector (ie: transportation, buildings, waste, municipal operations, etc.)
Implement strategies & policies
Milwaukee’s City-County Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity, who were essential to the planning and development of the Milwaukee Climate and Equity Plan
